My Last Blog: I Wish I Were A Cigarette

Yeah, I really do wish I was a cigarette. A Camel Light, please.

It’s kind of funny, really. I read a lot of fanfiction and I find that most writers, when writing that Bobby is smoking, write it as though he's sneaking it behind Alex's back. I kind of like that idea actually. For some reason when I see Vincent D'Onofrio smoking, I begin to salivate. I feel like I'm in one of Pavlov's experiments; I'm the dog. One of my boyfriend's - more or less - did the same thing but when he smoked I didn't find it as attractive as I do when Vincent smokes. Weird, right?

Anyway, I don’t like cigarettes, but I have to say Vincent can give me lung cancer anytime!!!  Every time I see a cigarette in his hand, I wish I were one. Then his lips would be on me. =)

Anyway, this will be my last blog for awhile. I have a lot of things going on that keep me from writing as often as I'd like to. I may post a blog every now and then but don't count on it. I will, however, be back for May! Until then, take care!

Note: I changed the format from a Photobucket slideshow to a slideshow I did in PhotoShop that I converted to wmv format to play as a video. I hope everyone can view this.

  2. OMG! I wonder if that's the episode I'm thinking of. But it was a homeless guy asking him if he wanted a drag (they were on the streets and Eames was ahead of Bobby) and he looked and her and then looked back at the cigarette and quickly took a drag. Can anyone confirm what episode this was in? LOL I love that scene!

And thanks. I've enjoyed doing this. I actually have some blogs already written; they just need some touching up and pictures. But I just seem to lose track of the days. That and I'd like to focus more on fanfic for a while. I mean, gosh, you read my fanfic and I still haven't posted ch. 3 yet! Anyway, thanks for your support!

  6. greeneyesbell1 - Thank you! That has been driving me nuts forever! It was such a cute scene. His little innocent face. Rofl!

Beverly - Thanks. He most definitely is smokin' hot. =) I will poke my nose around here every now and then. Just not as much as I was first doing. How you guys can do it, I'll never know. =) Thanks again.

havers - Aww, thanks. I will. As far as Vincent smoking, maybe it's just something I like? Hmm. LOL Like I said, I hate cigarettes but he's yummy when he smokes. I don't know why.

  7. I don't think it is the ciggies, it's his hands and his mouth.

Having seen my cousin die of (non-smoking-related) lung cancer, I can assure you that you wouldn't be happy if Vincent caused you to have that illness.

  8. val - My Grandma died from emphysema due to smoking so I'm aware of the seriousness of it. Having said that, still love him that much that it wouldn't bother me to be around it.

  9. I kinda like seing him smoke in pictures, but I could not be around him if he smoked... *sigh*

There's no reason why Bobby should do it behind her back. In one episode, there's a pack of cigarettes laying on his desk, right in front of her nose.

  10. Thank you so much Snyder, I love 0:48 take.
Ah smoking, such a sensitive issue: I respect the fact he smokes, I just wish it won't hurt him later in life. I have seen close ones struggle with breathing for years, and so many good actors die to lung cancer. I assume his lungs are not made for tobacco (coming from an european family). On the other hand, I don't care about second hand smoke, for me that is caring more about probability of disease than being with someone, although I respect the people who believe in this. For me knowing people and sharing is more important than avoiding disease. I cannot not like him, even if he smokes, such a nice person, such a good character, a versatile actor. If smoking makes him happy, I will buy him a pack when he asks (I keep dreaming!!! lol). Have a good night you all.
